A majority of the decisions has a cost instead of a benefit, and everything only affects one thing when it sounds like it should affect multiple. There should be a good and bad to everything, or multiple goods or multiple bads. For example, something might cost a lot, but it would increase citizen wellness. And I would think most things have an effect on the reputation, even if just a little, for better or for worse. Keep up the good work, though. Game has potential!

You Decide – Games

Thanks a lot for your review, MizukiUkitake! You are right. In Mayor, decisions only refer to their most important single effect. We did this simplification for gameplay reasons: results must be easy to grasp. We want a game session to end in a manageable amount of time. That is why you are pressured with many costly results. Best regards!

Cause and effect has the opposite of intended consequence, and often affects one thing, when it should affect multiple. That's cool. Still a terrible gameplay mechanic.

"Cause and effect has the opposite of intended consequence" - Welcome to politics.

Extremely communist game. It asked me if I wanted to kill off the old people and when I said no it didn't give me any more voters and deducted points. The game also penalized me when I didn't want to raise taxes, didn't want to influence an investigation, and also said a wage hike caused an economic boom. Avoid this game. It's propaganda trash.
